Funeral services will be held, Monday, May 15, 2017, at 11 AM at St. Peters’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1422 Church Road, Pen Argyl (Plainfield Township).  There will be viewing hours, Sunday beginning at 2 PM until 5 PM and Monday beginning at 10 AM until 10:45 AM all at the church.  Interment will be in Plainfield Cemetery.  The Ruggiero Funeral Home, www.ruggierofuneralhome.com, Pen Argyl is in charge of the arrangements.

Fay J. Fulmer

Died: May 11, 2017

Fay J. Fulmer, 78, of Plainfield Township, passed away, Thursday, May 11, 2017, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Anderson Campus.  She was the wife of the late Berton H. “Ducky” Fulmer, who passed away, June 8, 1988.

Born in Easton, January 6, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Rebecca (Savacool) Yoxheimer.

She and her late husband co-owned Fulmer Brother’s/Juniperdale Farms, Plainfield Township with her late brother in law Robert H. Fulmer and his wife Ruth.

Fay was a 1957 graduate of Easton High School.

She was a member of St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Plainfield Township, she was an  Executive Board member for 20 years of Pennsylvania Association of County Fairs, held various offices of Northampton Monroe County branch of the Farm Bureau, Secretary of Plainfield Farmers Fair for 30 years, Northampton County 4-H leader for 35 years, a longtime member of the Plainfield Township Zoning Board, a member of the Blue Valley Garden Club, the Pen Argyl Football Mother’s Club, the Plainfield Township Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, the Plainfield Township Ambulance Corp and various other organizations.

She is survived by two sons, Michael A. Fulmer and his wife Alberta of Washington State, and Mark R. Fulmer and his wife Joann of Plainfield Township, a daughter, Michele A. Fulmer and her companion Jarod Black of Plainfield Township, four grandchildren, Craig and his wife Janine, Jennifer and her husband Ryan, Zachary and his wife Brianna and Kaitlin and six great grandchildren, Megan, Jaxon, Nadia, Jayden, Jonathan and Ryan.
