Services:

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Monday, July 17, 2017, at 11 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church, 300 W. Babbitt Avenue, Pen Argyl.  There will be a visitation Monday beginning at 9:30 AM until 10:45 AM at the church.  Interment will be in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel New Catholic Cemetery, Roseto.   The Ruggiero Funeral Home, LLC, www.ruggierofuneralhome.com, Pen Argyl is in charge of arrangement. 

Memorials:

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be offered to either, St. Luke’s Hospice Development, 801 Ostrum Street, Bethlehem, PA 18015 or to Gift of Life Donor Program, 401 N. 3rd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123.

 

 


Patricia J. Beck
 
Born: March 1, 1942
Died: July 12, 2017

Patricia J. Beck, 75, of Whitehall, formerly of Roseto, passed away, Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at St. Luke’s Hospice House, Bethlehem. 

Born in Easton, March 1, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Josephine (DiFede) Renaldo.

Before retiring, she was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant for sixteen years by St. Luke’s VNA Home Health and Hospice, prior to that she was employed for twelve and a half years by Manor Care, Easton.  In 2009, she received the Nursing Excellence Award.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Egypt, and was formerly a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish, Pen Argyl, where for thirty years she served as Lector and Eucharistic Minister.

Pat was a 1959 graduate of Pius X High School, Bangor, and attended Rider College.  While at Rider, she was the secretary to the Dean of Freshman Ministries.

She is survived by five children, Teresa F. Monroe and her husband Rev. Malcolm B. of Crockett, TX, Douglas P. Beck and his wife Tina M. of Bangor, Regina A. Abruzzese and her husband Mark A. of Houston, TX, Pamela M. Sullivan and her husband Kevin J. of Whitehall, and Monica C. Thomas and her husband Robert L. of Lakewood Ranch, FL, eleven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, a sister,  Doris Onder of Edison, NJ, and two brothers, Michael Renaldo of Wayne, NJ, and Peter Renaldo of Melbourne, FL.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Heard.
