Betty S. Reagan
Born: August 12, 1924
Died: March 19, 2019

Betty Reagan, 94, of Nazareth, died peacefully on March 19, 2019.   She was the wife of the late Kinsey S. Reagan.

Betty was born in Philadelphia and graduated from West Chester State Teachers College in 1944.  Betty often told her family fascinating and hilarious stories about her time at West Chester when most of the men were off fighting in WWII and the women co-eds were in charge!   After the war ended, she met and fell in love with a handsome and charming B17 bombardier.  Betty and Kinsey began their life together in a big red farmhouse in Plainfield Township where they lived for 63 years.  Summers were spent at their home in Ocean City, New Jersey-days filled with bike rides on the boardwalk and walks on the beach.

Betty was the librarian at Pen Argyl High School for sixteen years and opened up the world of books to many, many students.  A voracious reader, she started her day reading every word of two newspapers and completing the crossword puzzles.  Betty loved playing bridge, and her bridge group were dear and wonderful life-long friends.

Betty had a life filled with happiness, and there was no greater joy for her than her four children and seven grandchildren.   She is survived by her sons Kinsey S. Reagan Jr. and his wife Susan of Potomac, Maryland; Robert and his wife Marjorie of Wind Gap, Pennsylvania; David of Wind Gap, Pennsylvania; and by her daughter Betsy and her husband Kris of Titusville, New Jersey.  Her grandchildren are David, John, Ross, Kate, Ian, Scott and Julia.

A memorial celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
